We know it’s hard to ask for help when your family is going through a crisis or facing a breakdown. Many families that call us are at their breaking point, with nowhere else to turn. They often feel stressed, upset, frustrated, angry and even frightened. But no matter what you’re going through or how bad things seem, you’re not alone.
We’re here to help families and carers of young people aged 12-18 years. When you call, you’ll speak to one of our caring and professional Case Managers, who’ll ask you what’s going on and talk to you about our programs and services. We’ll also speak with the young person in your care to try and understand things from their perspective.
Our Family Restoration and Preservation Program offers ongoing case management for everyone in the family. Access to counselling is available and we can also coordinate psychological assessments. The program offers practical and emotional support to help families rebuild relationships and reduce breakdown. During your initial call, we’ll arrange a time to meet face-to-face, either at our office or somewhere else that’s convenient. We’ll provide you with detailed information about the program to make sure it’s right for you and answer any questions you may have. If you decide to participate in the program, we’ll allocate a family Case Manager to support you on your journey.
Your Case Manager is always there to help and will be your main point of contact for the entire time you’re at Taldumande. They understand what you’re going through and have lots of experience helping young people and their families through tough times.
We'll work with you for as long as it take to help your family move from a crisis to a better place.
If you’re ready to reach out and get the support you and your family need, call us today.
