Taldumande Youth Services is a not-for-profit organisation, supporting vulnerable and homeless children and young people aged 12-24, and their families, across Greater Sydney.
On any given night Taldumande has over 70 children and young people in residence.
Over the past year, we have seen an alarming increase in young people experiencing homelessness. This crisis is closer to home than you would think.
We have assisted 1078 children, young people and their families this year through our accommodation and other support services. This is 229 more young people than the previous year. Sadly, we have had to turn away 324 young people and their families at point of need.
