Support the 2025 Wenona Amnesty Sleepout for Youth Homelessness
We’re proud to once again partner with Wenona School as students come together to raise vital funds and awareness for the urgent issue of youth homelessness.
At Taldumande Youth Services, we provide safe accommodation, crisis support, and long-term case management to vulnerable children and young people aged 12 to 24, along with their families, across Greater Sydney. As a not-for-profit organisation, our work depends on community generosity to ensure no young person is left without help.
On any given night, over 70 young people are housed in our care. Over the past year, we’ve supported more than 1,000 clients through our programs — but the demand continues to grow.
This year, 100% of the children and young people referred to us were experiencing family breakdown as a result of violence, abuse, and a lack of family or community support. Tragically, we were forced to turn away 427 children, young people, and families at their time of greatest need due to limited resources.
Every young person we support is navigating mental health challenges, yet many still face barriers to accessing the assessments and services they need to heal and move forward. As our CEO, Lisa Graham, explains: “We’re committed to doing more, but urgent funding is needed to ensure no young person is left without help.”
By supporting the 2025 Wenona Amnesty Sleepout, you’re helping Taldumande expand our capacity to reach more young people in crisis — providing them with safety, stability, and hope for a brighter future.
Together, we can make a lasting difference and move closer to ending youth homelessness.
