Sienna’s 21 for Under 21 is a youth-led community initiative by Sienna, a 16 year old student from North Sydney. As part of this initiative, Sienna is challenging herself to train for and run a half marathon (21km) to raise funds with the aim of mobilising financial and essential resources to support vulnerable children and women in her local community.
Sienna has chosen to partner with Talumande Youth Services, an organisation that provides safe housing, practical support, and wellbeing resources for young people and families experiencing disadvantage. The funds raised are directed to Talumande Youth Services or used to purchase much-needed materials and resources for those most in need. Sienna was inspired by seeing first hand when delivering food care packages to residents in Talumande housing how vital these services are in making a real difference to the lives of young people.
