On 19 March, Taldumande Youth Services welcomed guests to the Ivy Ballroom for the 2026 Family Dinner - and what a night it was.
The atmosphere from the very first moment was warm, generous and full of energy. Guests came together to celebrate, connect and show up for the children, young people and families that Taldumande supports across Sydney. From the live and silent auctions to the incredible entertainment from Scot Finnie, Kylie Fisher and Melissa Voyias, the room was electric from beginning to end.
One of the most powerful moments of the evening came from our brave speakers - a young person and parent who shared their Taldumande stories in front of a room of 300 guests. Their courage and honesty were a moving reminder of why this work matters, and why events like the Family Dinner are so important.
We are proud to share that this year's Family Dinner achieved a record-breaking fundraising result. Every dollar raised goes directly towards Taldumande's programs, helping us continue to provide crucial support to children, young people and families experiencing homelessness, family breakdown and vulnerability.
None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity of our community - those who attended, donated, bid, bought raffle tickets, or supported from afar. A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. A special thank you also to the generous businesses and individuals who donated prizes for our live and silent auctions - your contributions made the night truly special and helped us raise vital funds for the young people we work with.
