We raised the bar!
On Thursday 21 March, we welcomed 270 esteemed guests to the Taldumande Family Dinner at Ivy Ballroom, a gathering that captured the very essence of community spirit and solidarity.
What an incredible night it was!
We are delighted to announce that through the generosity of our guests and supporters, we were able to raise $199,700 – a truly remarkable achievement that will provide vital resources for our programs and services and help to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Not only did we exceed our fundraising expectations, but we also strengthened friendships, forged new connections and reaffirmed our collective commitment to helping more families, children and young people in need.
With our Ambassador Jean Kittson leading the charge, alongside Carla from Bankstown, Mikey Robins and our auctioneer Oliver Burton, the evening was enriched by a moving speech from an extraordinary young person and the heartfelt words of parents who have recently benefitted from our services. Adding to the entertainment was a captivating performance by the Australia Theatre for Young People.
A sincere thank you to all those who attended, donated and volunteered their time so generously. Your support is invaluable and makes a real difference to the lives of children, young people and families facing crisis.
