ERICSSON VOLUNTEER AT THE REFUGE

Ericsson Volunteer at the Refuge

An eager group of 10 volunteers from Ericsson spent a combined 50 hours at our Refuge on a hot November day. Their efforts resulted in over 25 bags of vegetation ready for recycling. Over-grown garden beds were replanted with more manageable plants or pruned back to create a more friendly outdoor space. The team also had loads of fun baking and brewing Vietnamese coffee for their Melbourne Cup Day fundraiser. Funds raised have gone towards an outdoor lounge and a fun day at Raging Waters Sydney for the young people.

What a great Christmas present for everyone at the refuge. Thank you for making such a significant difference.
